Remembering My Grandpa 'D'

It has been 5 years since my grandpa died. He was the man who would give the shirt off his back if you needed it. He showed God's love in all that he did. My dad is becoming more and more like him as he goes in his faith. I love to see the blessing that come from these men.
Grandpa...
loved the Lord
went to Mexico to feed orphans
refurnished furniture
always said BEAUTIFUL
loved all people
took time for all people.
Dad...
loves the Lord
serves on boards to aid hopeless souls and give them counsel
rebuilds lives with words and prayer
always has a hug for me and my family
gives sound counsel
serves behind the scene
These men have made a huge difference in my life and so many other lives that they truly deserve much more than this world can offer. Their treasure is stored up in heaven! Praise the Lord!

Heart Issues

Last night I has my first experience in an ambulance. Not one I want to repeat anytime soon. I've been having heart issues. It has been going in and out of sync for about 3 weeks. Last night was something totally different. I had immense pain in my chest. I thought I was going to die. Paul called the nurse and she told him to dial 911. The police, paramedics and ambulance came to my rescue. I was taken to ER and they did ample tests. They were able to rule out heart attack, blood clots and anything related to my heart. They did think it was a massive esophagus spasm. It can mimic heart issues. They prescribed an acid reducer and told me I was low in potassium. So we left 3 hours later.
Today I have yet to eat any food in any large amount. I still fill full and don't want to repeat the pain. Even in this event I was able to feel God's hand. Pastor Aaron showed up at the hospital and prayed with me. Even the X-Ray tech joined us. It was pretty cool! God is working in us through us and for us. I just need to rest in His joy and care. I love Him so much and I want to be in His care forever! I am reminded of Psalm 23. The Lord is my shepherd, He takes care of me, He loves me, He directs my path, He protects me even when harm is near.
How could I ever not want to be in His presence. I'm thankful that He spared my life and has given me a chance to change it. I now have to loose weight, change my diet to avoid this reflux and in so doing I will loose the weight. The things I love to eat will now have to wait for heaven.

Life as a Family

When your family is involved in your life it can be so sweet! As with my family. My precious girls love me so much they hug and kiss me often. As I do the same with them. This photo on Mother's day is just a token of how blessed I am to have my Paul and 3 girls in my life! I love them!!!

Yes there is a God!!!! and He is very good!

Life can be so confusing. Yet when you let your heart be turned toward the Creator of all things under the sun and on the heavens. He will give you direction and prove to your soul that He is the One who knows what is best for me. I have been on my knees this week searching the scriptures for hope, peace, JOY and love. And you know He didn't let me down. He brought me to Jeremiah. 33:3....Call to Me and I will answer and do great and mighty things which you do not know! and Phil. 4:8... Think on whatever is pure, true and holy... This thought process eliminates the possibility of false thinking(wrong thinking). I then have to make a choice of what I am going to think, do, say, and dwell on. I have to choose JOY! If I don't it is sin (James4:17). I just ant to be in the presences of the Lord!

Life can be lame...

Life can be so lame that you just want to quit. I have been feeling that this huge ball is going to drop on my life and I am just going to let it! I can't seem to get out of this downward spiral of emotions. I can't help but feel that I need to stop feeling this way, but can't seem to make the best choices for myself. Now if someone who is wise and knows what I should be doing comes along and sees me in my slump,,, do you think I should listen to what they say? Well yes I do. I know Jesus wants me to make the choice to be joyful, not blue right now and I know that I need to look at what is true, pure, noble and praiseworthy, but how do I do that when all I see is myself and how I am being affected in this new life adventure of ministry. I am so selfish and want to be back to my old life. . . . . . . . . . . Old life... homeschool able to stay at home (not working outside the home) Avon $ was mine I could call Paul anytime of the day without feeling that I am in the way able to do things with my friends go to Bible study try to get laundry done during anyday that I need to just plain had $ . . . . . . . . . . new life..... not able to stay home put girls in 'real' school Avon and CtK $ is for family needs can't call Paul anytime (dont' want to bother) no wed.
