Update on MIL
Today Paul I saw my mil. She was in much better spirits. She got an IV and this was really a good move. She feels confident that the knee is good, but she has little strength and stamina to get up and move. She is exhausted just getting up to use the comode. But none the less her color is back and she is looking better.!!! Praise the Lord!

This Week
I have had a different week. On Monday my mother-in-law had her right knee re laced. She pulled out fine. She was in okay spirits until about Thursday afternoon. Her roommate had kept her up most of the nights and she was exhausted. So on Friday when she was moved to a new room we felt this may be good for her, but it was not. She has lost the motivation to move. She is just laying around and not wanting to move or visit. She will not speak to certain people and she seems to have given up. I really do not like this. I am having a really hard time with this. What can we do and how can we help her get past this? I really hate to see her like this and I pray that she will find a reason to keep on!!!!!

Broken Camera
I finally decided to take my camera more places. This is after about a year. SO it decides that it no longer wants to work. Now what am I to do? I would love to just go out and buy a new one, but then where does the $$$$$ come from? And if we're talking $$$$ Our vacuum just broke and I spent $$$$ for a new one. I figure that a vacuum is a bit more important than a camera. You know the whole chore thing would be lost if one did not have to vacumm and the other still had to clean the bathroom with no change. So to tomorrow and what will that bring? Hopefully a new camera will be dropped off to my house by an anonomous donor. Now that would be awesome and an act of God!!!!!

Snow Vs. 96 degree
As a Californian, I have really come to love the snow. Possibly only because we visit the snow and do not live in it! Well today I think about snow only in contrast. Today we had our spring soccer team (Kora and Lily's) party. It was in a really nice park, but still outside. Mind you I don't mind the park, but when it is 96 degrees outside that is another story. Then after the soccer party, we went to a friends birthday party, again outside. Only this one had a pool that we could swim in! That was great. So now that we are back at home, we are quit content to sit around and relax. So here's to relaxing!!!!

Happy Birthday Dad
On my dad's birthday (actually afew days late) Kora wanted to surprise him with a cake. So off to the store to get all the ingredients for a homemade cake just for Bunpa. All the girls helped and we had a great time baking. Then we decorated it with Oreo balloons and red laces for strings. It was really pretty. We enjoyed eating it and visiting! Happy birthday Dad!!!

Our Dog!
Last month we adopted a dog. He is a bit silly looking. He is a beagle and pointer mix. His head looks like a beagle and his body is totally pointer. Just last week Paul observed him in action. He smelled the air, searched for the scent, and there it was... He smelled a gopher. He straightened out his body, bent his hind leg and pointed to the gopher with his nose. Paul said it was really cool to see this dog do just as God had created him to do. By the way his name is Foster. and he loves to dig and chew. He is still a puppy (1 year). And now he just ate my amarilus. This is the first bloom that I have gotten since I planted it in the ground. I'm pretty sad.
What we do in our spare time?
At our house we now enjoy playing "MaterNational" on the WII and Joelle loves to play Little People online. This is a new family adventure for us. I have never seen Paul so hooked on anything before. He puts me to bed and then he plays for a few hours. he has completed 100 % of the game and now I think he needs something else to concur. I wonder what that will be? Anyhow, we have been loving the WII!

Having Kora Home
Kora came home on Friday evening. We are so thankful that she had a great time. She even touched a snake for me. I ask her to for me, and she did it! I'm so proud of her. She told of the many adventures she had and I will post a few pictures when I develop the film.
As for our home atmosphere, it has been really loud. All 3 of the girls have been talking, humming, grunting and singing extremely loud since Friday. Just because Kora is home is not a good reason to be so loud. Oh well the joys of 3 girls!!!!

Life without Kora
This week Kora has been at Hume Lake for Outdoor Education camp. Here at home we have been experiencing a bit of quite. She loves to talk and talks well, fast. Sometimes I can't understand her because she starts out the block before the gun marks go. I've missed her hugs and "I love you Mommy" and all the Kora things that she does. I Can't wait to have her back tonight!!!!! Her penguins will be so happy to have her home and snuggle them. As I'm sure she will be too! She called a few time and sounded like she was having fun, but with reservation. She so loves to be at home and reading. So to tonight when we will meet again!!!
I love You Kora!!!!!
