Yet to SEE the change!

Well, I am a bit sad. I have yet to see a change on the scale and the way clothes fit. I have walked more in the last 4 weeks then I can ever remember. WIll it ever change? I have been stopping eatting at 7:30 and trying to only have 1 helping. No change as of yet. I know it will take more time and a whole lot less food, but even just a glimmer of hope in the scale thing would be encouraging, you know? Well, today I did a full 2 miles on the DVD. WOW! Even hade Kora and Lily do the first mile.It really feels good to walk and it gives me more energy to complete the days tasks. I also have more energy for Paul. This is a good direction! Will walk again today, missed yesterday!

ANother day "running" around

I thought today would be a great day to see how many steps I took. I put the good ole' pedometer to work. I took 9456 steps today and did tons of moving! Who would have thought that walking around the house doing laundry, shopping Costco, grocery shopping. craft store browsing, Bible study and life going would be so many steps. Now if I could find a way to do them in my sleep!

What Wake Up Early?

Yes, I did wake up early this morning. Not to walk, but to care for a sweet daughter who was throwing up. Once I got her settled then I walked my mile in the living room. I quickly went to see if Kora was ok, and there she was ready to let loose again. My sweet girl is such a trooper. I had Bible study this am and she had to go. I allowed her to stay with me and this was a good thing. You see Paul & I went on a tour of PCA this am. Kora was allowed to go with. She was able to see where she will go to school in the fall. This was a great thing for her to visualize. So even though she was sick, the Lord allowed her to be blessed.

The First Weekend

After just one week I have walked 4 miles. I feel great and look forward to my next walk. Today I cleaned out the patio and swept the front porch. It was pretty dirty after some huge wind this week. I was invigorated to get up and do more. I have never felt like that before. I think I will do a walk DVD after church before Kora's 9th B-Day party.
I took a before photo and wow it is awful. I can't wait to have an after picture, which by the way I never have been able to have one. I feel like there is hope and that I will loose weight and feel better about my body and how I eat.
Thank you Jesus for this new adventure!
