Walking with the girls, the adventure.

This morning Lily insisted that we take a walk. I'm all for this. If she wants to so do I. We have the day off for Martin Luther King Jr day and so we tied our tennis and got the bikes out. Here is the picture. Kora slowly rolling along, Lily pedeling hard , Joelle trying to keep up with the training wheels on, and then there is me. I have Foster the huge dog that doesn't ever remember that he has walked with the girls. He was crazy. He spun me around a few times and then tried to trip me too. He loved it. We stopped at a little play area and there was another dog. Foster loves dogs and just wants to be friendly, but I have no idea about the other dogs. Foster is pulling and tuggung at me arm, trying to rip it from the shoulder. Finally the other dog leaves. The girls want Foster to join them on the play equipment. I'm not opposed, so we coax him up. He is shaken and wants doen. he find an openning, and jump, down he goes. I almost fall and Kora grabs the leash and I run down quick. He had a great time and now we are all safe at home. All 3 kids and the funny dog too.

Dear Husband of mine, Paul

This week has been a living hell for my precious husdand. He submits to authority, leads our family, prays often, follows God call on his life, tries to be fair and just, does what is right. This week is a huge reminder that even though he does what is right, the enemy is out to steal, kill and destroy. Paul is an amazing man. He puts up with much more than I ever could -from me, our kids, his boss, his co-workers, those he leads, and so much more. I am so thankful that God has given me such a great reminder of how to serve without complaining. Paul is a great man and I want to grow up to be just like him someday. Right now he is sick in bed with a fever and he has not once complained of fussed about it. Thank you Lord for the man you gave me!!!!

Marriage Day-Retreat

Today our church held a one day marriage retreat. It was amazing to have so many couples there. I think there about 130 couples. God was sure working. Many were changed. A few of them were able to confess some really ugly sin and be able to find healing in Christ. I just thank and praise the One who is the great Healer and Restorer of marriage.
